Mr. Rogers was the beloved host of a popular children's TV show in the U.S.A. From 1968 to 2001, his show taught children from all cultural and economic backgrounds about emotional intelligence, compassion, and living in cooperation with others. A talented musician, Mr. Rogers wrote all the music for the show, including this one about the days of the week. A famously modest, gentle and caring person, Mr. Rogers was one of the greatest role models from U.S. children's television. His impact is still felt around the world today.
